I've been so busy I haven't even had time to check the comments on my blog. Since this show we've gone back once more to Madision to do another show which was live streamed on the internet, and we're heading back on Aug 1 to do an interview. And now that I've gone out of town more than once, it's a lot easier.

when i was in the service, we brought eb green (the stronger version of the silver duck tape) everywhere: it sewed the holes in your pockets, blocked the hole in the pipe, held two-hundred pound men taped to a ladder. in upstate new york you brought baling twine: it acted as a belt for both your pants and your car, secured things in the back of your truck, and held a two-hundred pound man tied to a ladder. having never been on the road, i would think duck tape would be a good thing to always have, but you may want to look into some baling twine, just in case.
glad to hear you are out of the nice warm incubator of chicago!

I believe that was Dorothy Parker, who is responsible for so many bon mots (bons mots?) like

Drink and dance and laugh and lie,
Love, the reeling midnight through,
For tomorrow we shall die!
(But, alas, we never do.)

Glad to hear about the tour and how much you learned on the road. Kudos to you for getting out there, doing things that challenge you, sharing your music with the world. Yay!
